Michelle is a softball instructor for Diamond Dynamics who focuses on pitching and hitting for all ages. She offers small group lessons Monday-Thursday and will be hosting camps and clinics.

Michelle pitched at the University of Michigan from 1985-1988. In that span she through 2 no hitters and was selected as the Big Ten Player of the Year and earned First Team All-Region accolades in her senior year. After finishing her collegiate career, Michelle participated in three Olympic Festivals and earned ASA All-American recognition.
Michelle’s coaching career began at Bowling Green State as an assistant coach, followed by positions at Florida State and Arizona State. In 2002, Michelle was chosen as the head coach to reinstate the University of Nevada softball program after a 14-year hiatus. During her six-year stint with the Wolfpack, Michelle’s teams reached 2 NCAA Regionals and in 2008 she was named the WAC Coach of the Year. After successfully rebuilding the Wolfpack program, Michelle and her family relocated to Bloomington where she served as the head coach of the Indiana University softball program for nine years from 2009-2017.

Michelle Gardner has been doing personal instruction at Diamond Dynamics for the last 5 years and has helped many girls reach the collegiate level.
